Hao Zhou, PhD

Hao successfully defended in August 2024. His research interests include cardiopulmonary bypass, inflammatory response, and tissue engineering. Hao’s work focuses on characterizing endothelial cell response to cardiopulmonary bypass. With these interests and his educational background, Hao ultimately hopes to improve post-operative outcomes in patients who have undergone cardiopulmonary bypass.
