April 4, 2017
1800 9th Ave., 2nd Floor – Downtown Seattle
On April 4, our panel will discuss whether health care consumerism is more fact or fiction.
Is there a consumer of health care? It’s still not clear if the people we hope to engage with digital tools will be influenced to make positive changes, if it makes sense to think of people who use health care as “consumers”, or how much technology innovations will really drive value for patients that may or may not be interested in engaging with new tools.
Join Lee Huntsman, UW President Emeritus and Seattle health care visionary, for a discussion with two esteemed experts who operate at the frontier of patient engagement.
The primary decision-makers when it comes to health care for their families (often women) are managing care and making decisions (along with providers) for themselves, and their parents and children. What should innovators be thinking about if they hope to engage this important audience?
The hour-long panel will be followed by networking. We look forward to seeing you at the Cambia Grove!
