Carter is a second-year undergraduate from Olympia, Washington. He is currently working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in the University of Washington’s Bioengineering department and hopes to attend a PhD or Master’s program in the future. Carter is looking towards a career in research and hopes to focus on studying protein structure and design. In the Daggett Lab, he is currently researching the aggregation kinetics of the amyloid beta peptide. In his free time, Carter enjoys hiking, reading, and playing piano.
