Hi, I’m Saadgi and I am currently a junior studying Bioengineering and Biochemistry. I am currently an undergraduate researcher at the Daggett Lab at UW Bioengineering, which focuses on developing therapeutics for amyloid diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. I am also a part of the Biophotonics and Imaging Lab at UW Bioengineering where I am part of a project working towards developing models for early diagnosis of retinal diseases. I am part of the Executive Team at Bioengineers without Borders while also being of the Undergraduate Leads for the Hydrosonix team at BWB where we are developing a low-cost hydration monitoring device using ultrasound technology. Owing to my passion for languages and literature, I am also a part of the UW Sanskrit Club. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, painting, watching movies and exploring new coffee shops. One of my favourite places to be on campus is the waterfront.
