Brandon Nguyen

Brandon is a bioengineering junior from Renton, Washington. He is currently working as an undergraduate research assistant at the Folch Lab, fabricating electrochemical aptamer-based biosensors to test the effects of cancer drugs on tumors. He is interested in healthcare equity and universal design and wants to discover ways to cut down the costs of drug development and medical treatment. In the future, he plans to pursue medical school with a research focus through the physician-scientist pathway. Outside of school, you can find him playing piano covers, going on runs, attempting to learn Kpop dances, and spending time with his family and friends.
